Charlie Chaplin was born within weeks of Adolf Hitler and both of them lost their father when young. In this speech Charlie Chaplin plays the (identical-looking) Jewish barber who pretends to be the Great Phooey (Fuhrer) Adenoid Hinckle (Adolf Hitler). The movie came out in 1939/1940 and was playing in London during the Blitz. Naturally it was not shown in the occupied territories of Europe.
