Books on fashion are found in four parts of the Dewey Decimal classification system on the non-fiction shelves: History of fashion (fashion through the ages) is at 391, books on specific fabrics are at 677, books fashion design and creation are found at 741.6 while books on specific designers (Chanel, Dior etc.) are at 746 There are also several 'sustainable' design/fashion books in the Sustainability Collection. Ask a librarian for help to find any of these.
